About us

I came to the United States from Japan 13 years ago to attend beauty school. There I realized that American beauty tech was far behind Japan. There was a need for Japanese hands in the American beauty industry and I wanted to make a difference.

A few years later, I decided to bring my unique Lash-Lifting Training from Japan to the United States. Initially, I started a small salon out of my house while managing a full-time job at a bank. But within a year, with my growing clientele and demand for my services, it was clear the Lash Industry was calling my name - so I dove in completely and happily!

I love the sense of personal uniqueness that is embraced in the American culture. It is this feeling of uniqueness that I bring to my clients through my Lash Lift services. Every eye shape is different and I love to personalize each client’s lash placement to enhance their natural beauty. No two lash lifts are the same at Mai Lash Bar (unless we are duplicating a Lash Look you present to us, of course).
